Matthew Hudson

Managing Partner

Mr. Hudson leads the Balfour Pacific team and has been a driving force in building the firm’s platform since joining in 2017. He is critical in shaping and executing Balfour’s strategic vision and oversees all operational functions.

Mr. Hudson has extensive experience in financial advisory, restructuring and private equity, cultivated at leading firms, including PwC, Tricor Pacific Capital and Parallel49 Equity. Prior to assuming the leadership at Balfour Pacific, Mr. Hudson was Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Investments. In those roles, he oversaw building a portfolio of commercial real estate assets, successfully executed divestments and debt restructurings, and strengthened the trust and confidence of the firm’s stakeholders.

Mr. Hudson is a Chartered Professional Accountant and remains active in the community. He serves as a judge for the CoStar Canadian Impact Awards and as a board director of Urban Academy.
